Learn or Die

School’s out but does that mean that we should all stop learning?

Sometimes we just move away from learning because it’s no longer in our face, but as someone who allowed themselves to do this, I guess you could now say I’m a “born again” learner.

The difference is incredible!

2 years ago I set myself a task. Start reading business books, network with like minded people and adjust the people that I kept around me. Why?
I needed to get out of where I was, I needed to grow and learn. Why?
Because I wanted more, I didn’t necessarily know what more I wanted but I knew there was more to do, more to be, more to experience and now it seems, more to say.

And there it is…to learn is to grow, to stop learning is to go backwards.

These days we live in an enlightened society, people around us are reading, experiencing, doing, growing and all of this means they are open to opportunities. It’s a funny phenomenon, the more you learn, the more you grow. It’s never ending and given that life is a journey, you should hope that you continue to learn and grow, because what’s the option? Not learning?

And so you might ask, what has my learning brought to me?

Learning has brought me a newfound energy, it has made me look for better ways to do things, it has helped me go further, faster. My business is in a better place, my network is growing like crazy and I’m able to use that network more effectively, all because of learning and I feel a lot more confident about things in my world.

What will your next learning opportunity be?
